Day-to-day:

As the Head of Payments at UNIPaaS, you will play a pivotal role in steering the Payments and Fraud department, leading the charge in defining and executing the fraud strategy, payments processing strategy, operations, product development, and fostering strategic commercial partnerships. In this key leadership role, you will be instrumental in achieving PSP (Payment Service Provider) cost synergy targets and supporting the seamless migration of our fraud and payments platforms. Ensuring seamless and secure payment processing for customers, the candidate should be growth and revenue driven and be part of the development of new payment products and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities:

1. Fraud and Payments Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive fraud strategy to ensure the highest level of security for our payment systems.

Formulate and implement innovative payments processing strategies to enhance efficiency and user experience.

2. Operations Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Payments and Fraud department, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to industry standards.

Drive operational excellence, identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.

3. Product Development:

Lead the development and enhancement of payment products, keeping abreast of industry trends and customer needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge payment solutions.

4. Commercial Partnerships:

Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry players to enhance the company's payments ecosystem.

Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.

5. Cost Synergy Targets:

Be accountable for delivering Payment Service Provider (PSP) cost synergy targets, driving financial efficiency within the department.

6. Platform Migration Support:

Provide leadership and support for the seamless migration of the fraud and payments platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the payments and fraud domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of fraud prevention strategies, payments processing, and industry best practices.
  • Strong track record of developing and implementing successful payment products.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge and manage strategic commercial partnerships.
  • Experience in achieving cost synergy targets within a Payment Service Provider framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
